Diva Julia Domna, died 217. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 4.00 g, 12 h), struck under Elagabalus, Rome, 218-219. DIVA IVLIA AVGVSTA Veiled and draped bust of Diva Julia Domna to right. Rev. CONSECRATIO Peacock, with tail in splendor, standing left. BMC 9 (Elagabalus). Cohen 24. RIC 396 (Caracalla) and 715 (Severus Alexander). Thirion 503. Very rare and with a very impressive pedigree. Light porosity and with tiny marks on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
