KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Circa 331-322 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 8.49 g, 7 h). KYPANAIO[N] Charioteer driving fast quadriga to left. Rev. IAΣΩN Zeus Lykeios seated to right, right foot set on footstool, holding scepter in his left hand and leaning with his right arm on throne. BMC 109 and pl. XIII, 15 (same dies). BMFA 1321 (same dies). Naville 18d and pl. I, 18 (this coin). Very rare and with a remarkable pedigree. Very fine.
