Carausius, Romano-British Emperor, 286-293. Antoninianus (Bronze, 24 mm, 4.62 g, 7 h), C' mint (Camulodunum?). IMP C CARAVSIVS P AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right. Rev. PAX AVG / S - P Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive-branch in her right hand and scepter in her left. Cohen 529. RIC 476. A beautiful example with a lovely dark patina. Light areas of weakness, otherwise, extremely fine.
