CARINVS NOBIL CAES Radiate and cuirassed bust of Carinus to left, holding spear over his right shoulder and shield decorated with a gorgoneion on his left. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVT Carinus standing left in military attire, holding globe in his right hand and inverted spear in his left; in field to left, C. Bastien 484. Cohen 93. RIC 150. An attractive coin with a very sharp portrait. Light pitting on the obverse and with a thin flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
