An unpublished and very interesting Samarian obol

SAMARIA. 'Middle Levantine' Series. Circa 375-333 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.81 g, 5 h). Phoenician galley to left above waves; in foreground, eagle standing left with closed wings; above, 𐤁 ('b' in Phoenician). Rev. Persian king or hero, holding dagger in his right hand, standing right, grasping lion standing right, head to left, at mane; in field, O; all within incuse square. Meshorer & Qedar -. Sofaer -. Apparently unpublished and unique. A highly interesting piece with a very unusual obverse. Some deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
