THRACE. Ainos. Circa 372/1-370/69 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 14.99 g, 1 h). Head of Hermes facing slightly to left, wearing petasos. Rev. AINION Male goat standing right; to lower right, crested Corinthian helmet; all within incuse square. May, Ainos, 411 (this coin, A248/P292). Very rare. Somewhat brushed and with a minor graffito on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
