CYPRUS. Paphos. Stasandros, second half of 5th century BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 11.14 g, 10 h). Bull standing left; above, winged solar disk; to left, ankh-like symbol; in exergue, palmette ornament. Rev. 𐠨𐠭𐠨𐠰𐠦 𐠪𐠞 ('sa-ta-san-do-ro pa-si' in Cypriot syllabic script) Eagle standing left with closed wings; to lower left, ankh-like symbol; all within incuse square. BMC pl. XXI, 9. SNG Copenhagen 26. Tziambazis 7. Fresh and clear. Struck from the usual somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
