SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Emesa. Uranius Antoninus, usurper, 253-254. Tetradrachm (Billon, 28 mm, 10.37 g, 12 h). AYTOK K COYΛΠ ANTωNINOC CЄB Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Uranius Antoninus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ Є[Ξ]ΟΥCΙΑC / ЄΜΙCΑ / S - C Eagle standing facing on ground-line with wings spread, head to right and holding wreath in beak. Prieur 1028 var. (no ground-line). Very rare. Somewhat porous and with a minor flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
