Diocletian, 284-305. Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 10.42 g, 12 h), Treveri, circa 298-299. IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right. Rev. GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI / B - ✱ / TR The Genius of the Roman people, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, wearing kalathos and holding patera in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left. RIC 278. An interesting example with retrograde officina control. Good very fine.
