Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.64 g, 10 h), Uncertain mint in Italy, 32-29 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Pax to right; behind, cornucopiae; before, olive branch. Rev. CAESAR DIVI•F Octavian, in military attire, advancing right, raising his right hand in salute and holding inverted spear over his left shoulder. BMC 613. Cohen 72. RIC 253. Beautifully toned, a very attractive coin. Banker's mark and a flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
