IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES Laureate and cuirassed bust of Crispus to left, holding spear over his right shoulder and, on his left shoulder, a shield decorated with emperor on horseback to right, holding spear in his right hand and shield with his left, attacking a soldier standing to left; below horse, fallen foe; on cuirass, gorgoneion. Rev. BEATA TRANQVILLITAS / •PTR• Globe set on altar inscribed VO/TIS / XX; above, three stars. RIC 372. Very rare. An attractive issue with a wonderful bust type.
