Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Aureus (Gold, 20 mm, 7.30 g, 5 h), Rome, 168. M ANTONINVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX Laureate and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, seen from behind. Rev. TR P XXII•IMP V COS III Aequitas seated left on throne, holding scales in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 466. Calicó 2006. Cohen 900. MIR 165-2/35. RIC 190. A splendid piece, struck in high relief and with a wonderful portrait. Very minor die wear, otherwise, good extremely fine.
