Constantine IV Pogonatus, with Heraclius and Tiberius, 668-685. Solidus (Gold, 19 mm, 4.41 g, 6 h), Syracuse, 668-673. δ N CONSTNTCЧS P P Facing bust of Constantine IV, with short beard, wearing crown surmounted by cross and chlamys and holding globus cruciger in his right hand. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧ KC• / CONOB:• Cross potent on four steps between standing figures of Heraclius on the left and Tiberius on the right; both crowned, wearing chlamys and holding a globus cruciger in their right hands. DOC 55a. MIB 30. SB 1201. Extremely rare. A wonderful and exceptionally well preserved example of this interesting western issue. Die breaks on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
