Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 10.66 g, 11 h). 𐑁𐑏𐑋𐑕𐑓𐑆 ('b'ltrs' in Aramaic) Baaltars seated left on a backless throne, holding a lotus-tipped scepter with his right hand and resting his left on his chlamys at his waist; to outer left, thymiaterion. Rev. π‘Œπ‘†π‘“π‘‰ ('mzdy' in Aramaic) Lion walking left on crescent; above, star. Casabonne Series 5, Group C. SNG Levante 185 ('Myriandros'). SNG Paris 434 ('Myriandros'). A bright and attractive example. The obverse struck from a somewhat worn die and the reverse slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
