Dirham (Bronze, 30 mm, 9.29 g, 6 h), Sivas. ‘al-malik al-ʿādil / Niẓām al-Dīn Yāghī-Basān / ibn malik Ghāzī’ (‘The just king, Nizam al-Din Yaghi-Basan son of King Ghazi’ in Arabic). Rev. Within a beaded circle, a beardless bust to right, his curly head tied with a keffiyeh-style band; around, traces of ‘ibn malik Dānishmand ẓahīr amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘son of King Danishmend, supporter of the Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic). Album 1245. İzmirlier 29. Rare. Somewhat rough and with areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
