Ex Hauck & Aufhäuser 16, 16 October 2001, 91, and from the collection of Jonathan P. Rosen.

Although the rare staters of Lampsakos are often struck on irregular or undersized flans, a double strike as pronounced as this is exceedingly rare. The thick flan must surely have required considerable force for the design to be impressed so clearly twice.
