BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Demetrios I, circa 200-185 BC. Triple Unit (Bronze, 27 mm, 11.55 g, 1 h). Head of an elephant to right, wearing bell around neck. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Kerykeion; to lower left, monogram. Bopearachchi 5E. Mitchiner Type 108b. SNG ANS 209-11. An exceptional piece, remarkably well struck and perfectly centered. Very minor deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
