ARABIA, Southern. Saba'. 3rd-2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 4.97 g, 6 h), imitating Athens. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet; on cheek, Sabaean 'n'. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; to lower right, monogram; all within incuse square. Huth 205. Munro-Hay -, cf. 1.4iii1 (hemidrachm). Rare. A beautifully toned and unusually complete example. Good very fine.
