Judaica PHILISTIA. Central Mint. Philistian-styled, circa 420-350 BCE. Mʿh = Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.64 g, 11 h). Bearded male head to left, three-quarter facing, hair gathered at the back. Rev. The piece was struck from the same obverse die as lots 58-59 above; this, like other die links, shows that the distinction between 'Athenian-styled' and 'Philistian-styled' should not be understood in technical, let alone chronological, terms.
