GETTO / 19[43] Star of David surrounded by doubled-lined circle interrupted by six miniature stars of David. Rev. Given the circumstances, the production of the Łódź Ghetto currency was subject to particularly close supervision and strict quality control. Mint errors are therefore exceptionally rare, making the dramatic error seen on the present piece all the more remarkable.
