Judaica JUDAEA, Bar Kokhba War. 132-136 CE. Middle Bronze (Bronze, 25 mm, 10.20 g, 6 h), irregular coinage. Uncertain mint. Undated, but attributed to Year 3 = 134/5 CE. 𐤔𐤌𐤏𐤅 (‘Šimʿon’ in retrograde and blundered Paleo-Hebrew) Seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates. Rev. 𐤓𐤅𐤕 𐤉𐤓𐤅𐤔 (sic!) ('For the Freedom of Jerusalem', abbreviated, in blundered Paleo-Hebrew) Vine leaf on tendril. Bromberg I 177 (same obverse die). Hendin 6464a. Meshorer, AJC, 75. Mildenberg 178 (O11/R17). Samel -.
