Judaica PHILISTIA. Askalon (Ashkelon). Circa 420-350 BCE. Mʿh = Obol (Subaeratus, 11 mm, 0.67 g, 12 h). Female head to right, the hair drawn back and tied into a ponytail. Rev. Owl standing right, head facing; to upper left, olive sprig; to right, lotus bud above 𐤀𐤍 (ʾN in Phoenician); all within incuse square. Somewhat porous and with minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
