Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophorus (Silver, 25 mm, 11.53 g, 1 h), Ephesus, circa 25 BC. IMP CAESAR Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Garlanded and filleted altar; on the front, two stags facing each other. BMC 694. RIC 482. RPC I 2215. Nicely toned and very well centered. Minor cleaning marks and with some corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
