PHRYGIA. Flavia-Grimenothyrae. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.59 g, 6 h), Loukios Tullios Per., epimeletes, circa 117/8. ЄΠI Λ T-Y Draped bust of Artemis to right, with bow before and quiver behind. Rev. ΓPIMЄNOΘYPЄ Demeter standing front, head to left, holding grain ears in her right hand and torch with her left. RPC III -. Von Aulock, Phrygien II, 341-344 (same dies). Rare. A beautiful piece with a splendid glossy patina. Very minor flan crack and with light cleaning marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
