TROAS. Skepsis. 4th century BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 10.05 g). Rhyton with forepart of Pegasos to right; countermark of head of Apollo (?) to right. Rev. Σ - Κ - Η Fir tree within linear square border; countermark of Rhyton with forepart of Pegasos to left. BMC 12 var. (Pegasus to right in countermark). SNG von Aulock 7650 var. (not countermarked). An interesting countermarked issue with a dark glossy patina. Very fine.
