RESTITVTOR REI PVBLICAE / RP✱ Emperor standing front, head to right, holding labarum inscribed with christogram in his right hand and Victory on globe in his left. Depeyrot -, cf. 25/1 (for Valens). RIC -, cf. 2a (differing mint marks). An apparently unpublished issue for Valentinian I. Light marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
