A rare 'Büschelquinar' from the Helvetii

CELTIC, Central Europe. Helvetii. Mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 1.57 g), 'Büschelquinar'. Palmette made from eight curved leaves connected by a central line ornamented with pellets; above, crescent. Rev. Celticized horse prancing to left; above, serpent (?); below, remains of a monogram. Nick p. 86, H3. SLM 951-954. Rare and beautifully toned. Struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
