Between segmented lines, ‘arsalahū / [lā] ilāha illā Allā[h] / [Muḥammad] rasūl Al[lāh / bi al-hudā]’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. He [i.e., Allah] sent him with guidance’ in Arabic). Rev. Between segmented lines, ‘[ḍu]riba bi Dima[shq] / al-sulṭān al-malik a[l-ẓāhir / Ab]ū Saʿī[d] Jaq[maq] … / …’ (‘Struck in Dimashq.
