A extremely rare stater of Lysimachos

KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 8.43 g, 12 h), Byzantion, circa 120-110. Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right, with horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated left, holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand and leaning with her left arm on shield decorated with gorgoneion; behind, transverse spear; in inner left field, monogram; on throne, BY; in exergue, ornamented trident to left. Marinescu Group VI, -, cf. issue 162 (differing monogram). Künker 326 (2019), 683. Extremely rare. The obverse struck from a slightly worn die and with light marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
