Diocletian, 284-305. Aureus (Gold, 19 mm, 4.56 g, 6 h), Cyzicus, circa 284-286. IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate and draped bust of Diocletian to right, seen from behind. Rev. ROMAE AETERNAE Roma seated left, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and spear with her left; behind her, shield. Calicó 4562. Cohen 431. RIC 301. Very rare. Boldly struck from fresh dies. Very minor edge marks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
