CYPRUS. Uncertain mints. Early 5th century BC. Stater (Silver, 25 mm, 10.54 g, 5 h). Lion at bay to right; in exergue, Λ; all within dotted circle. Rev. Bull standing left; below, Λ; all within dotted square within incuse square. BMC p. 69, 2 and pl. XIII, 6. Traité II 1354. SNG Copenhagen 65. Zapiti & Michaelidou 1. Rare and nicely toned. Somewhat granular, otherwise, good very fine.
