Light Miliarense (Silver, 28 mm, 3.24 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. δ m TIb CONSTANT P P AVG Draped and cuirassed bust of Tiberius II Constantine facing, wearing crown surmounted by a small cross and with pendilia, holding globus cruciger in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman, over his left shoulder. Rev. Large christogram (Chi-Rho) between T and P. DOC 8. MIBE 18. SB 426. Extremely rare. An exceptional example of this highly interesting issue struck on a broad flan. Struck from slightly worn dies and with a thin flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
