CON-STANTINVS IVN NOB C Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine II to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and eagle-headed parazonium in his left. Rev. VIRTVS EXERCIT / T - F / •PTR Trophy between two seated captives, one in attitude of mourning and the other bound and looking up at trophy. RIC 289 corr. (bust type) and var. (unlisted officina). Very rare. A magnificent piece with a very impressive bust type and an incredibly detailed reverse. Very minor roughness, otherwise, extremely fine.
