TROAS. Antandros. Early 4th century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.87 g, 8 h), Chian standard. Head of Artemis Astyrene to right, her hair held with a criss-cross band. Rev. ΑΝΤΑ-Ν Goat standing to right. Boston 1623. SNG von Aulock 7579. Traité II 2278. Rare. An unusually well preserved example with beautiful rendering of Artemis. Harshly cleaned, otherwise, extremely fine.
