[C G] - I L Laureate head of Julius Caesar to right; behind, countermark: monogram of LAE (?) within pentagon. Rev. Q•LVCRETI / L•PONTI / II - VIR / M•TVRIO•LEG Priest plowing right with yoke of oxen. RPC I 2268.23 (with identical countermark). For countermark, Howgego -. An attractive and unusually complete example. Minor breaks in patina and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly very fine.
