CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 9.35 g, 7 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple-pendant earring and elaborate necklace. Rev. Horse standing right; below on exergual line, three pellets. Jenkins & Lewis, Group IIIi, 106-110. MAA 4. An exceptional piece, fully lustrous and with a wonderful reverse. Virtually as struck.
