BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides II, circa 145-140 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.82 g, 12 h). Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ Apollo standing front, head to left, holding arrow in his right hand and bow set on ground in his left; to lower left, monogram. Bopearachchi 1A. HGC 12, 161. An extremely rare coin with a portrait of unusual style. Harshly cleaned, otherwise, good very fine.
