A very well preserved Kroisbacher tetradrachm

MIDDLE DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 12.61 g, 1 h), 'Kroisbach mit Reiterstumpf' type, mint in Burgenland or western Slovakia. Beardless male head with boxer's nose to right, wearing three-layered diadem. Rev. Rider on horseback left, showing only his torso, his hair bound with a diadem and tied into a topknot with three trailing curls; below, ground line ending in two torcs. Dembski 1390-1397. Flesche 524 (same dies). Lanz 744. OTA 469/5. SLM 1168-1171. Beautifully struck and very well preserved. Faint scratches, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
