EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 404-360 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 8.49 g, 3 h). Α Pegasos flying left. Rev. Α Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind neck guard, branch; below, ΑΗ. BMC 3. Calciati 59. Ravel 93 (A44/P64). A beautifully toned example with a fantastic reverse. The obverse struck slightly off center from a worn die, otherwise, about extremely fine.
