EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 404-360 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 7.87 g, 3 h). Pegasos flying left. Rev. Α Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; to right, hoplite advancing right, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left. Calciati 75. HGC 3, 205. Ravel, Colts 117 (A53/P79). Rare and with a lovely reverse symbol. Harshly cleaned and rough, otherwise, nearly very fine.
