An attractive tetradrachm from Selinos

SICILY. Selinos. Circa 415-409 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.10 g, 9 h). Apollo and Artemis standing right in a quadriga moving slowly to right; Artemis holding the reins and Apollo drawing his bow; below, barley corn. Rev. ΣΕΛΙΝΟΝΤΙΟ[Ν] The river-god Selinos standing front, head to left, holding laurel branch in his left hand and a phiale in his right; to left, garlanded altar; before altar, a rooster standing left; to right, selinon leaf over a bull standing left on a base. HGC 2, 1221. Schwabacher 31. SNG ANS 700 (same reverse die). Lightly toned and with a very attractive reverse. Edge cracks and the obverse a bit weark, otherwise, good very fine.
