VENVS AVGVST Venus standing right, nude to below the hips and seen from behind, leaning on a column to her left, holding crested helmet in her right hand and long transverse scepter in her left. BMC 141. CBN 106. Cohen 14. RIC 388. A beautiful coin, struck on a very broad flan and with magnificent old collection toning. Tiny flan flaw on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
