Vitellius, 69. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 36 mm, 26.99 g, 7 h), Rome, 19 April-20 December 69. A VITELLIVS GERMANICVS IMP AVG P M T R P Laureate and draped bust of Vitellius to right, seen from behind. Rev. PAX AVGVSTI / S - C Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive branch in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC p. 377, †. CBN 92. Cohen 67. RIC 118. Very well struck and with an impressive portrait. Somewhat smoothed and the obverse legend slightly strengthened, otherwise, about extremely fine.
