Balbinus, 238. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 23.69 g, 11 h), Rome. IMP CAES D CAEL BALBINVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Balbinus to right. Rev. P M TR P COS II P P / S - C Balbinus, togate, standing front, head to left, holding olive-branch in his right hand and parazonium in his left. BMC 28. Cohen 21. RIC 16. An impressive example with a lovely light green patina and a beautiful portrait. Minor deposits and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
