Titus, as Caesar, 69-79. Aureus (Gold, 18 mm, 7.40 g, 7 h), Rome, 77-78. T CAESAR IMP VESPASIANVS Laureate head of Titus to right. Rev. COS VI Roma seated to right on shields, holding spear in her left hand and placing her left foot on helmet; to right, Lupa Romana suckling Romulus and Remus; on either side of Roma, bird flying toward her. BMC 223. Calicó 738a. Cohen 64. RIC 954. Minor traces of mounting and with some scratches, otherwise, very fine.
