Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Semis (Orichalcum, 19 mm, 2.76 g, 6 h), Lugdunum, 10 BC. IMP CAESAR Laureate head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Eagle standing front with spread wings, head turned to left. BMC 563. Cohen 29. RIC 227. An attractive example with lovely orichalcum surfaces. Struck slightly off center and with a minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
