ATTICA. Athens. Circa 475-465 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.21 g, 11 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1594. Starr Group III. A boldly struck, perfectly centered and very attractive piece. Good very fine.
