LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 300-250 BC. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.13 g, 11 h). Head of Athena facing slightly to right, wearing crested helmet. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right; to right, cross-torch. HN Italy 1682. Johnston, Bronze, 46 (this coin). A beautiful piece with a lovely green patina. Good very fine.
