THESSALY. Perrhaiboi. Circa mid 5th century BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.85 g, 6 h). Hero, nude and with petasos over his shoulder and chlamys tied at his neck, running right and holding a band with both his hands passing around the head of a bull's forepart to right; below, star. Rev. Π-Ε Forepart of a horse to right; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 541 (this coin). Deeply toned. Minor flan faults and scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
