The first known Datta seal

INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Deccan). Dattas. Ajadatta, circa 1st century BC. Seal (Terracotta, 18 mm, 2.56 g). AJADATA SIRI KIVI RANA (In Brahmi) Ornate swastika. Rev. Blank. Apparently unpublished and of great interest. Good very fine.

This appears to be the first known Datta seal. It carries the dynastic symbol of the Dattas, an ornate swastika, and the king’s name in the margin
